Installation

From Microsoft AppSource

  1. Open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
  2. Go to InsertGet Add-ins
  3. Search for "GoValid"
  4. Click Add

Manual Installation

  1. Download from GoValid Third-Party Downloads
  2. Follow the installation wizard
  3. Restart Office applications

Getting Started

Sign In

  1. Click the GoValid tab in the ribbon
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Enter your GoValid credentials
  4. Authorize the add-in

Create a QR Code (Word)

  1. Place cursor where you want the QR code
  2. Click GoValidInsert QR
  3. Choose QR type and enter content
  4. Click Generate
  5. QR code is inserted into your document

PDF Stamping

Add QR codes to existing PDF documents:

  1. Click GoValidPDF Stamping
  2. Select PDF file
  3. Choose QR position (corner, header, footer)
  4. Configure QR content
  5. Click Stamp PDF
  6. Download stamped PDF

Bulk QR from Excel

Generate multiple QR codes from spreadsheet data:

  1. Prepare Excel with columns: Title, Content, Type
  2. Select data range
  3. Click GoValidBulk Generate
  4. Map columns to QR fields
  5. Click Generate All
  6. Download QR codes as ZIP

Troubleshooting

Add-in Not Loading

  1. Check internet connection
  2. Clear Office cache
  3. Sign out and sign in again
  4. Reinstall the add-in

Authentication Issues

  1. Ensure cookies are enabled
  2. Check firewall settings
  3. Try incognito/private mode
  4. Contact support if persists

QR Not Generating

  1. Check your GoValid subscription
  2. Verify API limits not exceeded
  3. Ensure valid content format
  4. Check error message for details
